(IMO GUYS) If people think we are going to get anywhere near what we paid for Ramirez in January, we are sadly mistaken, we are talking about a player who at the mo can't even make the bench. Looking at the situation, I think he might of signed for us thinking I will get a big pay day here and one of the ''big clubs'' will snatch me up when we are relegated. Obviously This did not happen. I have watched him a lot like the rest of us and although there is no denying the fact he has bags of potential and could well be a absolute superstar he is lazy and not suited to the premiership, which is odd because looking at him he is quite a tall player who CAN be quite strong on the ball. With the world cup this summer all the player is looking for is a way out, we will see no effort on the pitch for the rest of the year, and I think he may be looking for a move to an Italian club as the slow pace of the league will suit him. The only problem with that is that there is very little money in the Italian League and no club is going to shell big money for a squad player who isn't playing regular football. A loan option will be on the cards if we are lucky enough to get a club to pay his wages but I even think that could be hard to find as his ''reported 60k wages? are very high. Maybe a swap deal for Astori, Money + Ramirez but we can only hope - (pure speculation from my opinion there)

If anything the player wants away with the world cup this summer, it could be that we don't let him go in Jan and that he has to work his ass off to get anywhere near the team to book his place to Brazil, I still think if he worked like Rodriguez or Lallana we could have a serious player but why give him the chance when we have seen such little effort, what's your views guys?

1.) I don't think it's all his fault, he is just not the type of player we require in our team and a player can't always just change his spots.
He could go to Italy and be a star but not here, not with Saints. I don't think we would buy a player like him today - i'm sure we wouldn't.
He is well thought of in Italy and his agent will be working hard to get Saints some money of that I am sure.
However at one stage I thought Puncheon would never play for Saints again though and he did.

2.) If Ramirez can shine a wee bit internationally no reason we can't get £10m for him.

Take a £2m loss. Although I question what wages we've got him on and whether any Italian club would match them (I assume he'd head back to Italy). He infamously gloated about his sizeable pay-cheque from Saints when he signed for us.
