News now sight has some depressing articles this morning regarding our target signings. Just sayin!

templar st

1.) Not really depressing just goes to show the papers haven't a clue who were going for and as they know we've got funds to spend we're linked with every 10 million plus player out there makes me laugh

2.) We could of desperately done with naingollan, he could play winger, but then again, I don't wqnt players who say " I could of played for juve last year "

3.) Stoch can play winger to I think

Cagliari have said in the last hour that astori is going nowhere. He is a vital part of their future development. If this is true I would be disappointed. I know some have argued that since signing lovren we don't need him but I respectfully disagree. People have also argued that we need a 20 goal plus strikrr but that would cost in excess of 20 mill. Nc and pochettino have correctly identified that stopping goals is the top priority in this window. with the right appointments and provision I think Lambert will be a 20+ striker. Scoring goals wasn't the problem last season it was the -11 good at the other end.

templar st

1.) On the other hand, even after the defense settled there was a tendency to score far fewer goals than our play merited. Lots of chances in the second half of the season were wasted due to poor finishing. I can see the argument for having someone other than Lambert who can put the ball away consistently.

2.) We already have Lovren and if either Hooiveld or Fonte were to leave (preferably Hooiveld), young english centre back Jack Stephens should be involved. We only need a few additions in certain areas and now we should be well covered in the centre back position, although Astori is a great player

3.) Whilst I completely agree with you, we still have the CB we signed in jan and the new signing.

4.) We do not need Astori. We can sign other defenders probably cheaper and maybe younger for a long term plan. The more inter changeable our squad can be with top talents the better.

Do we need ever banega?? Fast feet, hard to dispossess, tenacious tackler, accurate raking diagonals, lock picking through balls and the odd great goal! Naa we don't need him!!

Listen, mp wants" total football". Every player able to play every position. Wingers not needed. High pressing, pressure. Repossession and then great movement to create chances.

We are going to be at the forefront of football innovation. We've seen a bit but we ain't seen nothing yet. Mp has identified the players he wants and the Don will back him. We will win games with 14 players all with the ability to swap in and all singing off the same hymn sheet.

For Christ's sake trust and enjoy the ride

Wanyama is on holiday at the moment and has been reported as stating that he will bide his time before committing to a destination. "I have just heard of the same interest in the media and currently I am on holiday enjoying myself. "I will speak to my agent to find out the true position, " said the Kenyan. "For now I want to enjoy my holiday. "

Copied from the Scottish herald.

So it's his agent throwing out the numbers. Victor will sit back on holiday and wait to see who comes closest.
No way this can be done before July 1st. A situation nc will lose patience with I'm sure.

Let's move on

So to summarise the last 2 days as succinctly as possible. Celtic have accepted a bid for between 9. 5 and 12.5 million for a lad who is on holiday in Kenya until the 10th of July. Victor only knows this through media reports but he in the region the following day to discuss and apparntly reject terms after one afternoons discussion! One bhoy says he was on 4k a week and another bhoy says he rejected terms because we can't improve that!!? He is desperate to play champions league but hopes that Cardiff make a bid!
Pick the bones out of that

Copied from the "daily nation " Nairobi.

Wanyama, who is on holiday until July 10, says he has not been contacted by Southampton but alluded to the fact that the club has tried to get his signature many times. “I’m on holiday, I am only hearing this from the media but I can say the deal is far from being complete. Yes, my club has agreed terms with Southampton, but I will also have to agree terms with the team before I consider myself a Saint, ” Wanyama, who was recently installed as Kenya captain, said. Wanyama’s position opens the door for more clubs to increase their bid. The 21-year-old has become one of Celtic’s key players since joining the Scottish champions from Belgian club Beerschot for £900,000 two years ago. Arsenal, Liverpool and Serie A giants Inter Milan have also expressed interest in the player.

St gazza. I copied this from "blogs. bettor. com". I thought I'd included that info but seems to have gotten lost in the ether! Other sights have picked up on it now. It only applies to nainggolan. I've heard nothing about ruiz. Hope this clears it up

The Rossoblu midfielder has revealed that he has agreed on personal terms with the Bianconeri, but insists that interest from other clubs and price could hamper the transfer. Radja Nainggolan has claimed that he has settled on private matters with Juventus, but maintains that Cagliari can always receive a better offer from other clubs. The Old Lady were also linked with a move for the Rossoblu midfielder in January, and the interest has resurfaced as the Bianconeri look to strengthen their squad for the next season’s UEFA Champions League. Nainggolan revealed that he has already signed an agreement underlining personal terms with the Turin giants, and stated that his agent showed him the signed document
