Any transfers soon?

Adkins is hopeful of one or two signings by June 28th, when Saints return to training.

Many are saying its Shea and Guthrie which I'd be happy with
If we miss out On clyne we will get crescenzi

I would think that the 2 signings would be defenders if im honest.

I hoped they buy four new players like She and Guthrie with two extra players god know the one thing we really do need are defenders :L

We'll sign a keeper... we only have one pro keeper at the club! and I've run the line for U18 academy team and we won't be using either of those keepers anytime soon... So NA and NC must have someone in mind

I think us Saints fans are underestimating the club's ambition in the transfer market this summer. Not saying we'll sign Messi, but I think we are looking for better than Danny Guthrie and Scott Dann (another who gets linked a lot, despite being atrocious last season)

Was reported in newspaper last week that both us and west ham were after him. So you'd imagine this may be the deal that the guy from Sky is on about would be a big signing of intent.

Ryan Dickson has been refused a move away from Southampton because of a "business decision"

True, as he has clause in contract giving wage rise if promoted

And.................... who cares. Stating the obviously slightly, what's the business decision? now that would be worth posting!

Not sure what the "business decision" is but Dickson said himself on twitter

Yeovil town still want him, but gary johnson has been priced out of a permement move now his clause has been triggered, but johnson wanting to make a loan move again.

Strange, just checked his twitter, just him retweeting a few things, i know he must be annoyed but 'dickson' is starting to look like an apt name...

Could the business decision be that who we had lined up to replace him has declined our offer and now we keep him as cover?
Anyway whilst he wears the shirt and puts in a performance we have to support him. However daft his twitter posts!

Whats the latest southampton fc transfer news. who are we close to signing.

Aparently ryan babel maybe coming from hoffenheim after they transfer listed him. Supposedly a 5m deal

Why would we sign someone who couldn't make a mark at Liverpool and then clearly hasn't made an impression at Hoffenheim?! Especially for £5million! We could get a proved prem player for that
