At the moment:
- neil danns looks set to sign for rangers as they have came in with a late bid which is rather annoying. However, saints have now turned their attention to Keith Andrews of Blackburn rovers. Understand that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs and ordinal terms will get underway soon.
- the forward situation is far as I'm concerned is that a Billy sharp wants to join but in last few hours Southampton have but in a bid for nicky maynard of Bristol city aswell as a bid for wolves andrew keogh which was a accepted a few days ago.
This afternoon, Aaron martin has been told he can join bmouth on loan and saints are bringing in another Aaron martin type player of Rhys Williams of lymington town. At only 18 he is seen as a upcoming defender who has been on Southampton radar for a while.

He's just about to turn 48! I'm sure we could find a younger goalkeeper elsewhere! some of these rumours are getting silly

Saints have bid £750,000 for Leicester City goalkeeper Chris Weale. City however are holding out for a straight £1 million but expect a deal to be finalised imminently.

Chamberlain set to join arsenal some time during the summer for a fee around £7million and emmanuel thomas will join the saints on a season-long loan deal. Former saint favourite Matt Oakley will be subject of a 250k bid and Albert Adomah for around £1.5million.
