Is there actually any half concrete links we have with strikers?
Feel like a lot of noise but nothing seems to be coming off. Demebele isn't interested and even if we get him, could be like Osvaldo.
Delap is a lucky loan it would seem at best.
Chelsea don't seem interested in letting Broja go and West Ham offering £35 mil I've read.
Aside from that we don't seem to be linked with anyone?

It’s imperative that Saints sign a couple of sharp strikers to support Adam Armstrong well before kick off 6 August.Providing the Central Defence gets sorted in.the interim it is probable that new goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu is capable of saving us at least 7/9 points throughout a complete season compared with that of McCarthy being played which in turn should give us a realistic chance of progressing from last season.

It is imperative that Saints sign a couple of sharp Strikers to support Adam Armstrong. well before 6th August kick-off. (after all Ralph indicated he would get business done early with months of pre-planning for reguired players) Providing that the Central Defence gets upgraded and sorted it is quite conceivable that our new goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu could save us at least 7/9 points throughout a season compared to McCarthy playing.Should all of these upgrades be acted upon Saints could well progress this season

Totally agree Johnnyst - even the best defences in the world (that wouldn’t be us) need strikers at the other end who can find the back of the net.
We have a lack of pace and definitely do not attack as a unit. The best teams hunt in packs and that is something we need to work on. But it all boils down to getting ourselves someone in the Danny Ings mould. I know some of you disagree (loyalty/respect for the club) but I would take him back in a heartbeat.

I would take him back too, but only if the price is right. If we can get him back for £15m, that’s great business. Sadly I don’t think Villa would go for that and will probably ask nearer the £25m they paid.

Wonder if there is a chance to get Ivan Toney from Brentford?
May take a big bid of £25m+ but with the right service he would be a 15 goal striker. I really rate him.

Biggest worry if we got him is he could turn out to be similar to Osvaldo, great player who believes he is above us.
