If you scroll up Vick, my first comment was in reference to comments about ox would surely join Southampton over Leicester as your bigger etc. and I pointed out that Leicester finished above you.
So you have settled my point with your last comment that you have Europa and we don't, so we're a backwards step. Leicester have champions league, you don't so if ox goes to you over them then it's s backwards step for him.
There are 2 or 3 managers I would prefer over Koeman, so best case scenario for all of us is he stays.

The goodison to be liverpools car park? What comic books are you reading. The new manager will have money to spend and any from player sales as if you read the real news and not comic books then you would have seen that as from February we now have a billionaire chairman. Don't know how 8 seasons equates to 12 years but 4th and 5th place finishes are not to be sniffed at. People need to realise that Martinez was a terrible manager and took us backwards but we still have a very strong squad, great youth set up, money to spend and with a half decent manager we have the potential to be challenging again. Not said Southampton don't, just found it funny that people said that we would be a backwards step as per our last 2 years, any forward thinking manager would see great potential in Everton. Fair play to koeman if he does stay as I stated on my first post I think he should and hopes he does.

Well at least you are putting a case across Vick, It could be argued though that last 2 seasons were a blip as we have previously finished top 8, 8 seasons in a row. I think the 2 clubs are similar on the pitch in terms of players and the good youngsters we have. Throw in our fan base and history which isn't looking in the past but defines a club and for me that makes us a bigger club.
Saint0001 your argument was ridiculous, if lukaku and stones go then it's going to be for over 100 million, all clubs bar the barcelonas of this world have players that want to move on and it's part of the game. Doesn't make us a small club. I don't actually want koeman, his record so far despite doing well is no better than Moyes was for us. Steady manager that will get you top 8 finishes but I want a manager who can take us to the next level like a emery of Seville. But would be great to see the Pompey tattoo and have heard from a few people that seem to know more than I do that koeman is interested in the job and talks could happen this week.

Come on do you generally believe that Southampton are bigger than Everton? We had 2 bad years yes but so have Man U, does that make Spurs bigger than Man U? No. I like Southampton but to say you are bigger than us because we have had 2 bad years is ridiculous. Koeman has rejected us? You must know something many don't.

Brilliant, and your probably the same guys that are saying that koeman to Everton is a step down because you finished above us for the last 2 seasons.

Well as I stated a couple of weeks ago koeman wasn't my first choice and would prefer emery but do see him as a solid appointment for us. No point going back over if it is a step down/up etc, do generally feel for you as a club but your chairman/director needs to be stronger when other teams come in for your best players or your always going to have problems in keeping your manager happy. Don't gloat if he does come to us but would like the fan that was so sure he wouldn't that he said he would get a Pompey tattoo if he did to honour his word :-)

That's a fair comment Vick, but at the same time you can't judge us on the past 2 years as Martinezs has been that bad and get a half decent manager in and we wouldn't ship goals like we have been.
I think any manager can see the potential with us and a lot of fans can see the work that koeman has done with you guys. Personally I think he should stay with Southampton as he is building something good with you but wouldn't rule him out wanting to talk to us as I think he would see the potential.
