Don't know if it's true but I just got told that in the BPL Saints have only won one of the last 10 and haven't scored a goal from open play since April, is this true?

Perhaps people have realised that we try and play down the middle now without much width and it much easier to defend against us like that.

Shame we weren't the ones waking up to the news we had Lukaku, as we don't have much of a plan "B" when plan "A" isn't working.

In MoPo and NC we trust.

Iduknow

1.) I still cannot get over how we let Puncheon go when he was one of the star performers last season.

I feel that MoPo is turning us into a very dull la liga esc side who knock the ball around but don't really do much with it. We need to play to our strengths get Lambert in the box and get the crosses in

2.) Did we have a choice with Puncheon leaving? maybe it was already "in the cards" if CP came up that he wanted to leave. Here's my conspiracy theory - it was known to management that JP wanted to play for CP if they came back as he had mentioned it on the field a few times as CP looked like they could pull off a top three to get promoted. JP was confronted by management and admitted his desire to play for CP if they made it back to the BPL. Mutual agreement (sorry to see ya want to go type of speech- but we need committed to SFC players. etc) by both parties, and voila, in form Punch was sat on the bench at the end of last season, and not used this season when clearly he was our best RM and formed a good partnership with Clyne. So we Loan JP for the year and if CP fail and go back down he comes back to us. what do ya think? it answer the frustration questions like "why was he used so sparingly in the later stages of the season last year, why were we giving a player that performed well the cold shoulder?

3.) MoPo didn't fancy Punch
JM didn'y fancy Lukaku

No idea why, but they didn't!

4.) I think it's probably much simpler than that. Pochettino wants to start a squad rotation system, and especially wants to start with a narrower midfield. Puncheon wants to be a week-in, week-out starter. We already know he (Punch) can get a bit sulky when he doesn't get in the lineup, so the best solution all around (for him and for team unity) was to send him to Palace on loan.

Haven't seen Guly for a while, didn't get in the squad for the cup and I can't see him in any of the latest videos, is he injured?

Iduknow

1.) He, along with Jos Hoovield has a bug. Via Saints Player and Jose Perez, so no, he's not being sold. (I can hear everyone cheering already!).

Chelsea said they were only interested in one more player then signed Eto'o.
Now they are refusing to rule out Rooney and are saying that they could sign a couple more players and that they expect a couple of young players to go out on loan.
Chelsea say a lot of things - who knows.

Wanyama has been like a rock at the heart of our midfield.
We are all very envious of your champions league spot, but our day will come, in NC we trust.

I would love Lukaku to happen but very much doubt it will - although he is still to get a start under JM isn't he? And now they've got Eto'o for a season, I can't see all those forwards staying happy at Chelsea. So we could be in the shout for one of MoPo's mates cast-offs.
