We've played 6 competitive games so far & lost once without fielding our full strength side! Calm down, get behind the club & remember how far we've come in a relatively short space of time from the dark days of league 1 & minus 10 points. Be very thankful we've still got a club to support never mind 1 competing in the top tier of English football & in Europe. I didn't pick my club to support, it picked me & although I want the best for us I will support no matter what standard we are playing. Long live the Saints!

People need to remember this is the first year in a new 5 year plan. This board know exactly why they're doing. Patience. We are still consolidating both our finances and our status as a PL team for another 26+ year stint.
This season will not be as good as lasts but I firmly believe the season in 5 years time will be better than last.

Try not to be too negative about players being sold, look at last seasons business & tell me who you would rather have had playing for Saints on last seasons form. Pelle or SRL, Mane or Lallana, Toby or Lovren, Clyne or Chambers, Bertrand or Shaw? I would chose the replacements all day long based on last season. We have a respected manager within the game who can attract a better class of player than our profile alone can. Let Ronald weave his magic & stay positive, let's not forget we nearly lost our club not that long ago! COYR's.

I'd have preferred Clyne and Chambers :-P Now it looks like it's Soares or Chambers and the jury is out on that.

Mane has been awesome but he doesn't do the same job as AL. We still need an AL.

You're spot on with Bertrand and Toby though.

Pelle needed RL to provide competition and RL will wish he never left.

Let's hope Toby comes back.

So I'm 50/50 on this, I do not believe Liverpool are a step up these days. yes I respect their past achievements and history of the club. not that I like the fans. I don't see Liverpool as a step because they keep getting it so wrong, they think by buying other players from other clubs who finish bellow them will push them on to a top 4 positions. and spending the money they have on these players,they should be top 4! but saints on the other hand realise that to be a top 4 club you need money which we do have but not of the sort that your United or Chelsea's have. So we have to sell 1 or 2 players for big money. now if Clyne had 2-3 more years on his contract he'd be in the range of 20 million + so Liverpool are on to a bargain price but we are selling Morgan as hopefully for 25 million or 20 million plus add ons. that will probably give 30 million plus depending on whether KL gives us all the money to spend again like last year we could have about 35-40 million (12.5 for Clyne, 25 for morgan) but I'm sure we probably already had between 20-30 million in the transfer kitty anyway. so it gives us 60 million to play with have already spent 8.5 million we could be left with sort 51.5 million so I don't think we will sign to or three more players and if we do it will be players like, Toby, Imbula, clasie, another rb. people need to realise that we do have money to spend and selling only adds to that. so I for one am not worried about saints but I am worried about Liverpool the only notable signing for me firmino. The rest are just downgrades. maybe not milner but the others aren't really a step in the right direction and what is there to be of lallana now? firmino is a better player. hmm what a waste of 25 mill
