Southampton have agreed a fee of £9. 5 Million for Victor Wanyama however the player is yet to accept personal details. A lot could still happen yet so I thing the transfer isn't going to be for sure.
Part of me thinks this transfer won't happen now because its been so heavily picked up by the media and that's not the saints way of business. But I also don't think any club will actually match the bid we've made so I guess it may come down to player terms. Given the fact he's young and up and coming I wouldn't be surprised if he wants quite a big contract which is another reason the transfer may not happen. Yet all the same he would be a real coup, and brings depth to both defence and midfield. so we shall just have to wait and see!

Italian gazzetta reporting saints 17 million pound move for Pablo osvaldo still think there's better players for that money
Of course their are better for that kind of money, for an extra 5 million could get an offer accepted for Lamela maybe.
God I hope not, for that mony their are way better players about and younger!
Could easily be a double bluff move by Cortese.
Roma are reputed to be asking 35M euros for Lamela. a little more than £22M. Also Lamela isn't a striker. Add in the complicated issues surrounding any potential sale due to multiple ownership, and it's unlikely that we will sign Lamela, but never say never.

^I think Cortese was expecting more support for the pre-season games last season and only really got it for big clubs so tried to get as many as he could and wound up only with Real Sociedad at home.

A leaked kit has come out showing a predominantly red kit with some white on the sleeves and collor. The same template as the new Bristol city home kit. The badge and the Adidas logo are both in gold.
I don't like it. Looking like we're now an all red team. So long stripes : (

Haven't seen it and its probs not the kiti heard its red with small white strips going across it. abit like Borussia Monchengladbach away kit. with black and green stripes. but ours will be red and white. only heard a rumour though
Red and white stripes are who we are saints fans are just a push over! We should all start kicking up a fuss example would Newcastle fans just let some one change there black and white kit?
I'm seriously hoping for vertical stripes and a proper coloured badge.
