Southampton are trying to sign Senegal defender Lamine Sane, 26, from Bordeaux.

Searching his name, I found he can play at cdm, cb or rb.

Source: Yorkshire Evening Post as well as sources from France.

He seems alright as a player, bit odd that it'd be reported in Yorkshire though.

Pochettino has already said that there is no truth in this.

Your point being?

Lenny

Agree8 Disagree6

His point is there is no truth in it.

Agree2 Disagree5

According to Pochettino in an interview? I wouldn't take anything a club representative says about transfers seriously. You can never be sure! Saying there's no truth in it would be wrong unless you know something?

Yannick Bolasie to Saints from crystal palace in the summer 3 million or Leonardo Bittencourt from Borussia Dortmond for 3 million. Who would you rather have?

Believable1 Unbelievable10

Dortmund wouldn't let Bittencourt go for 3 million. They would hold out for far more than that.

Agree5 Disagree3

Bolasie is sick is possible if palace dnt go up via p. o

Agree0 Disagree6

We should have bought Bolasie when he was at plymouth. He would have been cheap as chips.

So my question is, if we didn't buy him then, (and I know we looked at him), why would we pay ten times as much to buy him now?

Agree4 Disagree3

We would buy him now because he looks such a great player now. We missed out when he was at Plymouth and really he's shown what he can do. Getting Bolasie would be an absolute swoop.

Agree0 Disagree4

Even my blind grandfather could see what talent Bolasie had as a youngster at Plymouth.

I'm not saying that Bolasie isn't a good player, just that he clearly had masses of talent, and we didn't try to buy him.
A couple of years later what has changed? we've got better, Bolasie has got better. He clearly didn't fit requirements then, so there's a good chance he won't now.

Agree0 Disagree4

Well, the manager has changed, for one thing. The style of play has changed. The formation has changed (a bit).
