I'd like to propose an official apology to Ed 002 from all the Saints fans posting on this site. It's safe to say that since his departure from our page the level of information and debate has suffered considerably. That said Ed001 has kept things moving along swimmingly.
I believe that this page was probably the victim of fishy trolls who haven't helped however that does not excuse the behaviour of some who badgered (Stevo) and downright insulted Ed002.
If anyone would like to add their apology or agreement to this please comment below.
I sincerely hope that Ed002 gets to read this and furthermore and some point in the future would consider returning.
{Ed001's Note - I spoke to him about it, but he doesn't think it is worth the hassle. He does thank you for the apology though and appreciates the gesture.}
1.) Agreed sadly minority knobheads normally spoil it for the masses, thanks ed001 and thanks ed002 for all the info u posted in the past

Are we one of the few teams that doesn't have a regular ed to help us with info? Surely the morons on here can't be worse than the others?
Such a shame that we have lost our regular source of decent info because of morons.

Thats no excuse for a poor attitude to an ed or anyone else.

I'm definitely with Chris on this one, this site has definitely suffered since Ed002's departure but also a great deal of thanks are due to Ed001 for his work keeping this site going and from descending into anarchy. (Although Ed your payment was promised under the previous administration of this site and the new owners have realised it was non-contractual, hence the unpaid salary).
I am sorry for what has happened to the Eds on this site and the abuse they have gotten. I would hope we can get all Eds back happy to post on this page again in the future, but it's very understandable why they don't see it as a good idea for the time being.
6.) Im sorry ed002 I know I was abit of a knob with the whole steve bruce rumour, I even got banned :s so once again really sorry ed002!
7.) It's natural for people to dislike being informed of things they don't want to hear. That's no excuse though. Some of us deal with it better than others and by that I mean some of people aren't complete persons
8.) A shame. But a good post. I think a number of people have stopped passing info due to one or two "people "

Steven Caulker would be a fantastic capture for us. I just have a feeling though that we may have other targets in mind.

{Ed001's Note - it can be a number of things, like a link with http:// at the beginning. The spam filter removes those as they are 99% of the time just spam.

Afternoon Gents. Long time visitor to the site now first time poster (maybe 2nd I forgot old login). Some of you may know me as Halobethyname.
Anyways as far as the goalkeeper debate I'd be happy with Marshall, Foster or Begovic. All three have their pros and cons. Marshall is overpriced as it stands and we may get a few years service out of him but due to age won't hold value for long.
Foster and Begovic are both relatively good only trouble with the latter is I believe our fishy friends down the rd get a slice of any future fee. (Don't want to help them out too much)
Fosters price is also inflated as most players are when being sold on from the Scots big 2. That said I'm not knocking Celtic or the league and as disrespectful as some premier league fans can be and not remembering that there are other decent leagues out there.
the Scots must remember that through no fault of their own the league is weaker and that not every stand out player is £10m + and automatically going to become a world beater.
And the champs league argument is ridiculous as by that logic any player playing for Skonto in Latvia or BATE in Belarus must also be 10m+ players due to them once having a good game against a top team.

I propose a social media campaign of re acceptance for Dehan Lovren. If he's caught in two minds it may sway him
Sunderland want to raise funds to purchase Borini. So need to sell first.
I watched the Korean lad at this years World Cup, must have been watching a different player than everyone else as he looked very ordinary.
I'd like to see us go for Navas the Costa Rica keeper, I'm sure he has plenty of suitors but all those listed so far want him for back up to well established keepers at top clubs. Whereas he'd probably become first choice here.
