So.it appears that Wolves are negotiating with Kaladzic, yet another one who is likely to slip through our fingers, 24 goals in 56 games or something like that, available for £21m - why are we not trying to get these players, could you imagine him and Che up front with Mara and AA as back up, with Sarr in the side too! we can only dream, COYRs

I really hope we have some negotiations on going at the moment. This player Kaladzic is something different/special. He can hold up play and that was missing until Che came on at Leicester.
Dare I say, he looks like a Pelle type player, and that turned out well.

SURELY RALPH HAS TO GO NOW! 2-0 down at home to Leeds, with yet more ridiculous team selection, Djenepo starting again (he just has no clue about positioning or defending!) it's embarrassing, so 1 win in 15 Prem games, managers have been sacked for a lot less, who do we get in though? Bottom of the league still, bring back RK or even better The Poch! So so sad to see Saints floundering like we are, no-one is plating for the badge! I'm 46 but I'd give anything to pull that shirt on, but not sure they've got one with built in oxygen tanks though! Sport Republic do the right thing and end this farce! COYRs

How many players are we going to ignore.Dennis, Cornet, Colwill? Nothing wrong with kids coming in, but they are kids! Something needs to be done and sooner rather than later, hoping there's a couple of surprises before window closes. Maybe Watkins from Villa or even Ingsy!

Forget misplaced loyalty (apparently) I would take Ings back in a heart beat. We haven’t got a 20 goal striker - actually I’m not sure we’ve got 20 goals between us.
As for Watkins - definitely. One or the other …
I see Tella is likely to start tonight for Burnley!

I’ve been told we are in talks with Leicester about buying one of their players, apparently it’s a striker. I’ll keep you all updated as soon as I find out more info.

Not paper gossip but actually from within the club, Leicester needs funds and we were trying to sign iheanacho cheap but that’s not happening now Forfana is leaving. They are trying to get someone in and have various enquiries on the go. They are also negotiating the sale of Romeu, bednarek, stephens and trying to settle Walcott remaining contract. Not getting many permanent transfer bids but loan enquiries which is no good as they are looking to fund the signing of a striker whilst getting 3/4 off the wage bill so to comply with FFP rules.

Unlikely that Che will be going to Forest, as they are in talks with Emmanuel Dennis from Watford - £20m, wouldve been a steal for him, proven scorer in a terrible Watford side last season, he is still young and could've been a brilliant signing for us, but yet again, we miss out, due to Semmens and SR dragging their heals in the transfer windows. To me, it seems like the famous 'black box' needs turning off and back on again, to reboot it!
Shouldve shipped out:
Bednarek, Stephens (although can't fault his passion in the shirt, just his ability!), Walcott and Djenepo (simply not good enough). Tbh, although we have signed 6 players this summer, they are all 'for the future', same old story, buy them young give them a season in the first team, if they prove to be up to the challenge, sell them on! We are sadly not making any progress, i agree with all the comments that we are going backwards and getting left behind by the likes of Brighton, West Ham, Villa, Fulham - its heartbreaking as a saints fan. Teams used to hate playing against us a few years ago, but now we are almost a team the everyone relishes playing against. This season could be horrific, hopefully not as bad as recent seasons for Norwich and Derby! COYRs.

Is it me.or do we seem to be linked with player, 2 years before they become world class? I seem to remember us being linked with Nunez a couple of seasons ago, now its Kaladzic (2024 he will be another one!) I can't believe we are letting the likes of Tella go, when there doesn't appear to be any replacement lined up. Its all well and good buy young players on the cheap, but we need an experienced striker to help Mara develop and push Adam A. Why are we not pushing to sign at least Premier League standard player. If things don't change, we are going to be another Fulham or Norwich.too good for Championship, but nowhere near Premier League level. I agree, that if results don't start coming, Leeds is a MUST win, then Ralph will be gone by the World Cup, if we could get Poch back WOW, but sadly unrealistic, we shouldve gone in for Potter when we sacked Hughes. Still, i will always hope we are gping to win every game, COYRs!

Agree, i would love to see Sarr at St Mary's, i can't see Ramos coming to us either, Garner from Man U might be shrewd, he looked good last season for Forest.speaking of the tree dwellers, anyone else think Forest are just trying to buy EVERY player in the world, so no other Prem teams have anyone left? Has Robin Hood come back from the dead, they seem to have an endless supply of cash at the moment, apparently they're getting a new stadium, in some big place full of trees!
