Saphir Taider confirms talks with Southampton and has followed Southampton on twitter. Def signing amongst strong rumours he will sign tomorrow following passing a medical today.

Not a rumour but opinion. Although we have lost good players and possibly lose more in Lovren, Morgan and Jay as rumoured in various sources, I believe we can still improve on last season. We have received high fees from those lost (bar Lambert) which IF re-invested can help create not only a strong 1st XI as with last season but create a very strong squad. unlike last season. Out of the rumours around the world our squad could look like this (im hoping!)

I think that's a pretty strong squad. Although even with above I would like to see a further CM, Winger and Forward.
1.) Reeves isn't with us anymore. maybe u mean isgrove/harry reed
2.) Also it's not about what's better on paper it's how the team performs together, for example when QPR got relegated they had one of the best squads in the league
3.) Yeah I agree I'm happy if we bought only a couple more players this window. But I think banega isn't a realistic target anymore tbh. The rest I think are achievable
4.) Can't see any space for Cork - are you assuming he's leaving or was he forgot?
5.) The reason QPR got relegated was because they were being led by the same muppet who took us down. Why an earth anyone would think Rednapp was good enough for England Manager is beyond me
6.) McQueen, Reed and Cork have to be in there as well.

Roberto Mancini now 2nd fav to become Southampton manager in various bookmakers after leaving Galatasaray.
I certainly would like him to come. If its realistic or not, I don't know.
But Yakin is now supposedly in talks to take over. Wenger played his cards right over Ozil - maybe Southampton have too with Mancini!

Behave. Forgetting Lallana and the rumours involving him, we were already looking to strengthen that area in midfield as we sold Puncheon. If Lallana is go to (Big team) then Ramirez will not be allowed to leave. If they both left, imagine our midfield. Go home. Back to the drawing board for you chap!
