I really hope he stays. He looks like such a good player. Best for assists last season and one of the best in the league. This is despite the fact that RK didn't play him for much of the season. He is a diamond in the rough. We need to keep him. Very difficult to replace.

In his 3 games so far CP has been very stubborn. The only width we have is our fullbacks and when they push up we are exposed on the wings very easily witch even I can spot and our manager has done nothing about it.

Our manager will do something about it. I'll keep stating that we are only 3 games in . 2 home draws where to be honest Watford we've should have had 3 pts which we deserved. Sunderlands goalkeeper played out of his skin and stopped at least 3 shots on target that on any other day would have gone in.

Man Utd game we were beaten 2-0 and most other teams would have conceded many more. Please stop all this negativity and give this squad the backing they deserve. By Christmas you'll be singing their praises and forgetting all the rubbish being thrown about by the minority. Keep the faith.

agree there is an air of inflexibility about the new tactics/ system, which hopefully will be adapted each game.

We the supporters think that we can see a couple of weaknesses in the starting eleven and the squad in general. I for one am totally hoping that CP and the board will prove us all wrong and that they know exactly what they are doing . Just as I stated before I am worried that we are a one dimensional side now and that opposing teams can do their homework on knowing that we can't really have a Plan B with the squad we have . We may have to expect an early exit from Europe as the PL status of the club is paramount and that previous clubs in our position like Everton have struggled to compete successfully in both competitions with a squad that is too thin to deal with both . We don't want to be scratching around the bottom of the PL at Christmas and especially when the January window opens because if we are we could see some of our more accomplished players looking to jump ship . Hope I am wrong, the next 6 to 8 games will give us an indication as to which direction we are heading . Top support from all of us can often give the players confidence they desperately need and unfortunately I believe they are going to need every one of us behind them and not booing them off the field at half time as many did at the Sunderland game . We have what we have and we can't change that now . We must believe in them no matter what.

I have No confidence in the Diamond. Its a system that makes No sense to me. I'm actually surprised we have a brought in a manager who doesn't play/ prefer the 4.2.3.1 that proved so successful for us this year ( the 2nd best record in the prem since the new year) . a system that protects your back Four and also allows for attacking wing backs and 3 attacking midfielders. But, I will stand by the manager and will hope to be proofed wrong.
Have No problem with our recruitment, I feel its done enough to replace outgoings without blocking the path of our academy players.

Agree with you on getting behind the team. On the one dimensional post - at least 90% of the premier league teams are predictable in their tactics. The 3 new boys are a bit of a mystery at first then get found out and then struggle a bit. I predict for what it's worth that we won't be struggling in the relegation area at xmas . This squad will get better and better as the season progresses of this I'm confident. Will watch in interest at the other end of the world 12,0000 miles away the progress of the team. Arsenal will be the last time I'll be watching saints. i'll give my honest opinion of the game then that will be my last post. Keep the faith and like Chris said believe in them and give them support not boos. COYR's.

Looking at our forthcoming games we have a pretty tough run and if we can get 50/ 50 out of them we could be looking promising for a reasonable season . Can't see any improvement on last year, just a period of consolidation. If we do ok then at least our new manager is not going to jump ship because he seems to be a man that sticks around until he gets it right.
