Southampton are looking at Joel Cambell if Jay rod goes in jan

{Ed002's Note - Interestingly, aside from the interest of Inter Milan and Galatasaray in Joel Campbell, Arsenal met with another side about the player on Tuesday. I don't want to go in to detail but it was not Southampton. The player is keen to bide his time.}

After watching Arsenal v's United tonight I am confused. The pundits on the TV were saying that they will both probably be in the top four come the end of the season. Defensively they were both just awful and if we play at our best why can't we beat them ? Somebody said our season will be more or less decided over the next 4 games and in response to that if we do play our usual game we will beat them. We just need to get that ruthless streak in front of goal and we'll shut all these non believers in the media up, I think it is an exciting time for Saints so next Sunday starts the journey to Europe, we can do this.

2.) I don't see any reason for not being able to beat the so called top 4 teams. Our defence is sound ( we've only conceded 5 league goals so far this season) I agree that we need to be more ruthless up front and learn how to kill games off but apart from Chelsea I've not seen anyone playing better football than us. I think with maybe 2 additions in January we can still push for a champions league spot and certainly a top 6 finish

3.) 'Learn to kill off games'
Saints are the only to have won every time they have gone in front this year. We are doing alright at killing off games so far.

I think Teejaysaint is emphasisng that we don't properly kill games off. What he means is that if we could take our many chances and make the game safe by a 2 - 0 scoreline we wouldn't be living on the edge for the rest of the game. We have had a few 1 - 0 results recently and as well as we defend that is not killing off the game.

5.) Thanks Chris. I'm glad that someone realised what I was trying to get across. Winning 1-0 is ok and I'd take 38 1-0 wins in a season but when we are only 1 goal up the team gets very nervous especially in the last 10 minutes. If we put away 25% of chances created we would be winning most games by 3 or 4 goals and saving the fans fingernails

Bournemouth flying high as leaders of the Championship and good for them, I have a question though. Their ground only holds just under 12,000 so will they meet the criteria for promotion to the Premier League and if not what happens then. If they were to build a new stadium during that period would they look to ground share and if so could it possibly be at St Mary's as there isn't a ground with any real capacity within 70 miles of them. If I was a Bournemouth supporter this would be a big worry for me. They have a good manager and a good squad so this is more than a pipedream. What do you all think ?

2.) Grounds just have to be an all seater and safe from a buildings point of view, there's no minimum capacity iirc
