Lallana is very unlikely to be leaving to L'Pool after they announced a deal in principle with Bayer Leverkusen to sign midfielder Emre Can, subject to the completion of documentation.
Therefore looks a lot more likely he will be staying or travelling to Spurs.

1.) Emre Can plays DMC or CD. There's no correlation between his impending signing and their move for Lallana.
2.) True, but Lazar Markovic of Benfica is though. If Liverpool go for him, which it looks like they probably will, then Lallana will have to stay put and honor his 5 year contract.

4.) Or a realist. When someone states I will resolve my future after the World Cup and have 4 of 5 years of their contract to go. Lazar Markovic rumour would be liverpool feeding it to the media to try and get Lallana to try and get saints to hurry the deal before his value inevitibly rockets after performing well in the biggest show on earth. Do they think Les Reed is stupid? I trust he isn't

Koeman has stated Lovren has to come back on Sunday. However does not know what punishment Dejan will face if failing to return to the club.
Source - Press Conference.
1.) The punishment talk was regarding Osvaldo for having not come back to training. He said nothing on potential sanctions vs Lovren and probably is not expecting to have to impose any.

According to the Daily Echo, "Lovren has forced a move away from Saints, after a no show at training".
I thought he was still on holiday, as he hasn't returned from Brazil yet, (according to his twitter).
Does anyone else have any news or opinions on this?
1.) Not due back for another week and a few days I believe so probably a non-story being used so they have something to run with. Regardless he may well want a move and be willing to kick up some form of a fuss to get it but he strikes me as more likely to at least give Koeman a chance to talk to him first.

i just don't get we had a very good season last season
but I know other clubs sign players all the time
something is seriously wrong at st marys for 6 or 7 first team players want to move on
something obviosly gone on and about time reed or someone told the fans a bit of truth for once
but I don't think that will happen

3.) We do kind of know what happened. The players were promised bonuses by Cortese he did not have the authority to make but they were expecting to receive them for having achieved a very good finish. When they didn't get the bonuses it clearly caused this divide in the squad.

Southampton CEO Les Reed has promised to reinvest the money from Luke Shaw into the team. Koeman has around £50 Million to play with (including the Lallana fee recieved).
1.) He'll have even more if the Express story of Lovren to Arsenal is true.

Saints have just officially announced it on twitter.
Billy Sharp signed for Doncaster for a small fee in January. Hoovield still has a year left on his contract.
Cropper should be made number 2. He is a quality young keeper, who has managed to get a U. S. A call up (considering their keepers)
