Watch us lose tomorrow, sack MP, bring in 3 new signings, and go on a beautiful run if winning and end up in 7th or 8th place at the end with a run in the FA cup.
Ooh how I dream.

1.) 21 Jan 2018 09:15:07
Your dreams include us losing?

2.) 21 Jan 2018 10:46:09
Yes, today yes.

3.) 21 Jan 2018 11:22:52
Marco Silva just been sacked by Watford, personally wanted him at the start of the season as what a job he did with Hull. MP not good enough in my opinion, would love to see Silva come in.

4.) 21 Jan 2018 11:28:26
I'd throw this game for a change in personnel at the top
TBH they are the inform team in the league so I think they will win convincingly.

5.) 21 Jan 2018 11:30:53
Totally agree Bailey. Now is the time to sack MP and get Silva.

6.) 21 Jan 2018 11:52:39
Agree with comments regarding Silva, good manager.

7.) 21 Jan 2018 12:00:40
Bailey just beat me to this, I was about to raise the Marco Silva conundrum. is Watford have sacked their Portuguese manager Marco Silva, on the back of an 11-game run without a league win which was (probably) caused on by Everton’s pursuit of him in November.

So, assuming Spurs put a heavy defeat on Saints today, this could be a case of “perfect timing” - I doubt he’s be any “worse” than MoPel.

I’d consider it IF we were changing manager. I’d still like to believe Ronald Koeman would be the right choice though.

8.) 21 Jan 2018 12:03:53
How about we win and if the board want a change to silva they do that and we get 3 points. A win here or there will not change the boards opinion they either want him or don’t. Silva has hardly set the world alight after a good start. Would imagine if Everton want him he will sign and go there when big sams contract end of season is up. Can’t beleive fans want the team to lose to get him out what if that happens we change and go down by 2 points all happy?

9.) 21 Jan 2018 12:17:00
I love the enthusiasm mate, top notch.

10.) 21 Jan 2018 12:37:25
Wonder who Watford would be considering it about to appoint as their replacement for Marco Silva?

This manager merry-go-round gets a bit crazy, the same names or maybe another fresh faced bolt out of the blue. 10th place and something like 5 points above the relegation zone (this is very much a dozen club relegation zone season) - could be an interesting vacancy. One of our own club’s former managers could be in with a shout. I’ve no idea who’s watford would appoint though. A tricky one to bet on!

11.) 21 Jan 2018 13:35:39
Silva did do well at Hull and early on at Watford but he is clearly an ambitious manager who, once courted by a higher tier team, expected Watford to let him go so early into his first season. Everton may have been tempting for him but for goodness sake, show some professionalism and resolve. Watford didn’t owe him such an early exit. He would do exactly the same to us. We may be lucky for longer than Watford in terms of no opportunities coming up at a richer club, but we deserve better. If we were to countenance signing him, it would have to be under the strict assurance from him that he will not consider leaving until his contract is up. But then, we’re back to square one again. Waste of time.

12.) 21 Jan 2018 16:48:41
Those of you saying you want us to lose today, just so you can be proved right about MoPel, should be ashamed. I'm shocked that Saints fans would be like this - surely you all WANT MP to turn it around, no matter how convinced you are he won't. And you claim your opinions on the issue are rational! There's nothing rational about hoping we lose.

Marco Silva's an interesting one. I agree with whoever said he's ambitious, maybe overly so, and if someone comes knocking he'll be off. If it was me interviewing him, I'd want to know how ambitious and where he sees us in this plan. Understandable that if Arsenal come knocking in 1/ 2 years time he'd want to go. If Everton would be enough for him to want out, then I'd say thanks but we'll find someone else.

13.) 21 Jan 2018 17:36:18
Watching the game is literally a count down until Tottenham score. It's painful.

14.) 22 Jan 2018 09:45:26
Targett gone on loan to the Cottagers! Does this suggest imminent incomings?

15.) 22 Jan 2018 10:47:05
It would suggest to me that Fulham signing MT, is a sign that Sessegnon could be on the move.

16.) 22 Jan 2018 15:07:35
Agree it could be a sign that Sessegnon is on the move. I don't think you should read too much into it from our point of view though. Targett is our 3rd choice left back and has likely just been loaned out for game time. We wanted to bring players in before the loan, and I don't think it will make that much more urgent since Targett has barely been used all season.

19 Jan 2018 07:38:21
Saw something on Sky sports linking us to a £30 million move for Promes from Spartak. Anyone believe we would actually pay this fee? Would definitely give us that edge.

1.) 19 Jan 2018 08:36:35
would have to be a loan with an option can't see him wanting to play championship if we don't sort this mess out. if we buy him would imagine tadic would move on.

2.) 19 Jan 2018 09:12:49
I saw this, if true, I would be delighted. 30M, in todays market is a snip IMO, but would smash our record. This guy is class and would bring some much needed positivity.

3.) 19 Jan 2018 12:30:33
Do hope it’s true. If we sign him maybe he could Examine Les Reed’s head! as he’s still the best ME in my book.

4.) 19 Jan 2018 21:11:36
If we want to stay safe we have to start paying. £30 mil for him in my opinion is a steal.

We deserve to go down. All other teams in relegation battle deserve to stay up more than we do.

1.) 11 Mar 2018 09:02:24
West Brom deserve to go down as do stoke I feel then I think it’s between us and west ham.

2.) 12 Mar 2018 14:10:57
I believe in fate and patterns. There is a pattern here.
Stoke went up 08/ 09. West Brom went up 10/ 11.
It’s between us and CP who went up 12/ 13.
CP have a far worse good than us. I would say it’s CP who will go and I will be having a bet on it.
We are woeful but just don’t feel it is our time this year.
But we shall see!

3.) 12 Mar 2018 14:21:00
Or WH as they came up with us and if they are forced to play behind closed doors that is ominous.

24 Feb 2018 08:57:01
Big game today. Come on saints. I'm in Hawaii so I have to wake up at 5am but I'll do it Even if I wake up with a massive hangover! Come on you saints!

1.) 24 Feb 2018 16:48:35
Should of stayed in bed.

2.) 24 Feb 2018 16:57:05
Agreed. Now it's time to go dream of saints winning a few matches.

16 Feb 2018 08:59:59
I believe we Will stay up this season. Maybe we won't be top 10 but we Will stay up. Plus, it is really compact. Losing to Liverpool was almost guaranteed but we only lost by 2. Yes the players looked pissed but hey, if they keep going at it with the way they went about is recent games and give it their all, maybe we can win at least 6 of the remaining games. Looking at the schedule, we should be able to pull off at least half with wins. Let's go saints!

1.) 16 Feb 2018 10:24:28
On the flip side I honestly think the board prepared for us to go down. With the parachute payments and the VVD payments and also the tv money we will be no worse off.

2.) 17 Feb 2018 04:09:27
Yeah I think they are ready to go down as well but the players should just go out and play and tell MP to shut up haha just kidding. or maybe not kidding.

03 Feb 2018 17:02:10
Good game today. Feel we should have kept attacking when it was 3-1. Guido good movement. Definitely needs a little more chemistry with attacking players but over all good job. Let's just hope we play well against wanna be Southampton next Sunday.

Yup. I'm starting to think the only reason players play better against Tottenham and the other big clubs, is to increase their value so that when we get relegated, they'll find a new club easy.

I believe we can win most of the remaining games. Here is my prediction:

Burnley - draw/ win
Stoke - win
Newcastle - win
West ham - win
Arsenal - draw
Chelsea- loss
Leicester - draw
Bournemouth - draw
Everton - loss
City - loss.

{Ed0333's Note - You’ll against Newcastle and Evertonians lose against Arsenal. The rest I agree with.

I think we do have to break our typical MO. I think especially how we are going, we need to shake things up. Maybe we really do just need to get rid of the board or manager. Who knows. Something definitely needs to change. Who knows if we need to change our transfer and wage policy. We won't know til we do it no?

I agree we can still stay up but I'm ready to support the saints in the championship. Hope we come back in a year if we do go down.

We can and should get at least 7 points from our next 3 games. I can see us getting 9 points but you never know with our manager. I'll say we win all 3 if we have a good team selection and they don't sit back. Lots of 1-0 wins or late 2-1 wins but I think we can do it!

To make up lost income for the club, they could easily sell most if not all of our starting 11. And I meant it as a personal gain. Not a gain for the club. Plus, you never know how much there is to gain from some shady trading places.
